Instructions for customers of cancelled flights to Great Britain and the republic of Ireland Danube Wings upon agreement with Czech Airlines will terminate lease of their plane with crew starting 7. March 2010. Flights in March and April are definitely cancelled. We expect that all the other flights to Great Britain and republic in Ireland during summer season will be cancelled as well. We apologize to all the customers from cancelled flights for inconvenience. Please follow the instructions in the Danube Wings email of February 24th. If you bought ticket to any of the cancelled destinations and you did not receive our email, please contact us on the address letenky@vipwings.sk.

Press ReleaseDecember 1, 2009 Flights from Slovakia to England and Ireland, in summer also to Spain Slovak airline Danube Wings launched regular flights from the Poprad/Tatry Airport to London, Dublin and Manchester (also from Bratislava) starting December 1, 2009. Danube Wings shall operate these flights using a Boeing 737-400, leased by the Slovak carrier along with its crew from Czech Airlines. Apart from regular flights to Great Britain and Ireland launched on December 1, 2009 Danube Wings also began the sale of flights for the summer season. Passengers were interested in regular domestic flights and the company increased its number of Bratislava-Košice-Bratislava flights. Another ATR-72-202 aircraft will be added to its fleet in May.
